App usage data is used for the exclusive purpose of better understanding the manner in which users spend time in the MagicLens app, so that we may improve our app experience. We may also use your contact information to send you information and updates about us and the Services, including without limitation confirmations, technical notices, updates, security alerts, support and administrative messages, and marketing communications.

All data we collect is stored in a secure manner and shared with third parties only when this is necessary to enable the functionality of the application's offerings.

• Amazon Web Services: We temporarily relay information about your facial features to enable the photo animation capabilities of MagicLens.
• Posthog Analytics: behavioral analytics platform for product intelligence helping MagicLens understand user behavior and build engaging experiences.

MagicLens does not control third party platforms, websites or online services, and MagicLens is not responsible for their actions. These platforms, websites and online services follow different rules regarding the collection, use and sharing of your personal information.

Retention

Your data will be stored by MagicLens as necessary for the purposes for which the data are processed. That is why:

• Your facial feature data is handled only for the purpose of creating the photo animation.
• Personal data may be processed by both automated and non-automated means and may be stored at our premises and on our service providers’ servers.
• We adopt technical and organizational measures designed to prevent the loss, improper use and alteration of your personal data. In some cases, we may also adopt data encryption and pseudonymization measures.
• However, transmissions over the Internet are never 100% secure, and you should not provide any personal data if you want to avoid any risk.
• Personal data processed for the purposes referred will be kept for a period not exceeding the one necessary for the said purposes and, in each case, for no more than 10 years from the termination of the agreement.
• Anonymous, aggregated or de-identified data will be stored as long as necessary for MegicLens business purposes.

Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.
